Bali’s Hidden Serenity

Serenity of Bali’s Hidden Paradise

Discover tranquility in Bali’s hidden paradise. Let the spiritual charm of the Island of the Gods and the Island of a Thousand Temples evoke a sense of calm and inner peace, offering a peaceful escape for your soul.

With life always rushing by, when was the last time you simply stopped to breathe and let yourself unwind? Sometimes, you deserve a break—even a short one. Bali is more than its lively crowds and bustling streets; it’s a place where you can truly find your own slice of peace. Imagine walking barefoot on warm, soft sand, the sound of gentle waves in your ears, and a salty breeze on your skin. Suddenly, all your stress seems to melt away. In Bali, peace is not just a promise—it’s something real, waiting for you in every hidden corner of the Island of the Gods.

There are several beaches in Bali you might want to try.

1. Kelingking Beach
You probably know that the view from the top of the cliff at Kelingking Beach is truly beautiful and magical. It's no wonder most tourists come here to enjoy the panoramic view of the beach and take photos of the unique cliffs in the background.
But did you know you can actually descend the steep stairs all the way to the beach at the bottom? Very few tourists are indeed willing to make the effort because it's quite tiring. But once you reach the bottom, Kelingking Beach will truly reward all your efforts!
With fewer visitors, you can enjoy the fine white sand and turquoise waters of Kelingking Beach to your heart's content!

2. Seminyak Beach
In contrast to Kelingking Beach, Seminyak Beach is very easy to reach. Located north of Kuta Beach and Legian Beach, this beach in Bali is close to the much-hyped Seminyak area. The beach is also filled with resorts, cafes, bars, and beach clubs, such as... Seminyak Beach is one of Bali's must-visit beaches, perfect for relaxing and waiting for the sunset. With its wide expanse of sand, less crowded than Kuta and relatively cleaner, Seminyak Beach is truly a delight.

3. Green Bowl Beach
Years ago, Green Bowl Beach was predicted to be one of Bali's hottest tourist destinations—the now-ruined Bali Cliff Resort nearby is proof of this. Unfortunately, for one reason or another, Green Bowl Beach remains one of Bali's less-visited beaches, even though it's located close to two popular beaches: Pandawa Beach and Melasti Beach.
The location is a bit difficult to find, and to get to the beach, you have to descend hundreds of steps, which will surely leave your feet sore by the time you return. But once you reach the last few steps, you'll forget your fatigue because of the breathtaking view.
With its fine white sand, Green Bowl Beach is a great place to relax. The waves are also quite good for surfing, so don't be surprised if you see several foreign and local tourists surfing here.
By the way, did you know that Green Bowl Beach was discovered by Hamish Daud's father, the late David Wyllie, in 1972

4. Diamond Beach
Diamond Beach is another beautiful beach in Bali. Located in southeastern Nusa Penida, this beach offers a stunning view of the cliffs from above! It's no wonder this spot is popular for Instagram-worthy photos in Bali.
Besides taking photos from above, you can also descend to the beach using stairs, where you can enjoy the white sand and turquoise sea.
Like many other tourist attractions in Nusa Penida, the road to Diamond Beach is quite challenging. You can come here with a group of travelers, or for a more comfortable journey.

5. Melasti Beach
Melasti Beach is another beach in southern Bali that has risen in popularity in recent years. Besides its beautiful and well-maintained beach, the road to Melasti Beach, built between limestone cliffs, offers a truly unique view. It's not uncommon for people to stop to take photos with these cliffs in the background!
The waves at Melasti Beach are not as strong as those at other beaches in southern Bali, making it ideal for swimming and snorkeling. By the way, this beach is named after the purification ceremony performed by Balinese Hindus to welcome Nyepi Day. This is because this beach in Bali is often the site of this sacred ceremony.

And there are many more—above are some of the beaches you must visit to truly enjoy a tranquil holiday on the beaches of Bali.
